New MacBook Pro 2016 with multiple features, release date rumours

It is the second time in a row this year that Apple has failed to meet fan's expectations when it comes to the release of the MacBook Pro 2016.

It is said that there is a possibility that later this year some new products will still come out. As per the Japanese tech publication, the Cupertino-based company is set to launch the much-anticipated laptop this month; though, it is not set to take place at the Worldwide developers Conference or WWDC 2016, which is ongoing. Another reason is the fact that Apple would not have released an iPad Pro with a Smart Keyboard if they had any plans to offer their MacBook Pro with a touchscreen or more so a detachable one.

It was noted that the upcoming laptops would have new hinges by means of "metal injection molding", which are manufactured by Ampenol.

Furthermore, the Macbook Pro is rumored to come with a lighter and thinner design, along with butterfly-mechanism keyboard that was already introduced in the 12-inch MacBook, and a Touch ID.

It is also rumored that Apple will prefer OLED touch panels to the previous Retina displays for the new MacBook Pro.

As for the specs, fans believe that the MacBook Pro 2016 will have a more powerful processor.

Apple is said to be working on two main variants for the 2016 MacBook Pro, including a 13-inch model as well as a 15-inch variant, notes Movie News Guide.

Another interesting feature that will be added to the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 is Touch ID fingerprint sensor, based on latest rumors.

Day Herald has reported that MacBook Pro 2016 will feature a slimmer body. The device will pack Thunderbolt 3 port and USB Type-C port.
