Manchester United Enters Race To Sign This Real Madrid Target

Guillem Balague has poured cold water on talk of Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli moving to Real Madrid in the January transfer window. However, the player, along with Harry Kane, have both signed long-term contracts at the club in the beginning of the season and are committed to staying in Tottenham for the foreseeable future.

Reports have emerged that Real Madrid are lining up a shock move for Alli. Manager Mauricio Pochettino, speaking before the game, heralded Alli as one of the brightest sparks in the England system and expects him to continue his current form, which has seen him score seven goals in his last four games.

With the massive price tag, Spurs would make a huge profit on Alli if they do decide to sell him, after all - he cost the London club just £5 million (R84 million) when they signed him from MK Dons in February 2015.

The transfer price seems a bit high, but in this day and age with insane soccer salaries, that could be what it takes for Tottenham to agree to a deal.

Alli is now in the form of his life, with 12 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions for club and country this season. The Spurs star won't consider a move until the summer transfer window when the Premier League season is over.

The 20-year-old scored either side of half-time in Tottenham's 2-0 win against Premier League leaders Chelsea at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night.
