James Corden's Funniest Grammy Awards Moments

James Corden's Funniest Grammy Awards Moments

The powerhouse vocalist, who took home the three most prestigious awards at Sunday's event, admitted that she believed the pregnant superstar deserved to win the night's biggest honor, album of the year, for "Lemonade".

As she accepted her award for Album of the Year, with Beyonce´ standing and cheering her on, Adele made everyone know that not only is she a member of the Beyhive, but she's quite possibly the president.

After her mesmerizing Grammys performance, Beyoncé returned to the mortal world to accept her Grammy for Best Urban Contemporary Album. "I'm very humbled and very grateful and gracious, but my life is Beyoncé". It was so monumental and well thought-out and handsome and soul-baring. All us artists here adore you.

"My husband, my son, you're the only reason I do it", she said, after a tearful speech.

The show kicked off with Grammy victor and nominee Adele, who performed her hit "Hello" followed by Corden with a monologue that resembled the rhythmic style of Broadway's Hamilton. The illustrious duo also went head to head in the album of the year and song of the year categories, and Adele coming out on top is sure to cause consternation among Beyonce fans. "I was devastated by that, and my rehearsal - I did have a shaky rehearsal today", she admitted to reporters in the Grammys press room after her performance, via PEOPLE.

It is unclear if Adele will officially reject her award.

My, how time flies - the 59th Annual Grammy Awards are right around the corner! Beyonce bagged only the best video award at the Grammys this year.

"George Michael, I love him". And Metallica singer James Hetfield's vocal mic did not appear to be working for the majority of the band's performance of its song "Moth Into A Flame" with Lady Gaga.

Adele, 28, ran into some major issues when she took the stage at the 2017 Grammys, Feb. 12, to pay tribute to the late George Michael. It won best alternative music album and engineered album, non-classical. "You are our light", Adele said.

"I felt like it was her time to win".

Chicago-born artist Chance the Rapper, 23, outdid other established performers, such as Drake and Kanye West, by winning best rap album for "Coloring Book". He also won in the categories best new artist and best rap performance.
