Ghost Recon: Wildlands Open Beta Starts Next Week

After the closed beta a few weeks ago, Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting an open beta, running from February 23 - 27, on current-gen consoles and PC. Thanks to the game's open beta period this month, you'll be able to do just that. The official description for what is included in the beta can be read below. If you then purchase and play the main game's campaign before March 31, 2017 (through the same Ubisoft account) then you'll also be granted access to a limited-time mission to say thanks for participating in the tests. If you missed out on the closed Beta the other week, this is the ideal opportunity to jump in and see how it plays. At their own risk.

Ubisoft also announced its recommended PC specs for Ghost Recon Wildlands today, and it looks to be quite the demanding title, with recommended video cards including Nvidia's GeForce GTX 970 and AMD's R9 290X to play the game on High quality at 1080p. Players are tasked with eliminating the cartel by any means necessary.

As in the full game, all the content in the Open Beta will be playable with up to three friends on the same platform via four player co-op, or in single player.

Check out the Ghost Recon Wildlands site for more information about how to get involved.

"The massive and responsive open world encourages a variety of playstyles, allowing players the freedom to choose how they execute any and all missions".
