Texas cop uses patrol vehicle to push burning truck from restaurant

Police dashcam video caught an awesome save by a Texas officer who saw a pickup truck engulfed in flames next to a fast food restaurant Saturday.

The driver got his wife and daughter out of the auto, but could not move the stricken pick-up and left it blocking access to the driveway.

Officer Chris Womack made a decision to use his patrol vehicle to push the truck away.

Dash cam footage from the squad auto captured the officer pulling up behind the burning truck that was dangerously close to the restaurant.

Despite the truck being engulfed in flames, there is absolutely no damage to the building - just a charred curb.

Thanks to Womack's selfless conduct, the fire didn't spread to the restaurant itself ― and subsequently no one inside or outside was injured.

Police have not said what happened to the driver of the truck.

After moving the truck, Womack then radioed back to base to tell them that he pushed the truck into the parking lot, but he's not sure if the restaurant had caught on fire.

"I would like to commend Officer Chris Womack".

The modest officer said the call-out definitely got his adrenaline pumping.
