Atlanta pimp's $1.2M home raided by feds for human trafficking

"He's risky. This is a guy that preys on girls", said a woman who reports her daughter was one of the eight girls held against their will inside Roberts' home.

"It's a house full of girls and... if I try to leave, he'll try to kill me", the caller said.

Police arrested 33-year-old Kenndric Roberts, who faces charges of false imprisonment and trafficking of persons for labor.

'What we believe is he was luring these women to this house with promises of either modeling careers or financial assistance.

She'd met Roberts through SeekingArrangement, a self-described "Sugar Daddy Dating" site.

She said she "just got here", approximately a month ago. Roberts allegedly took the women's personal phones and identification and provided them phones.

"He had me go get plastic surgery", she said.

Roberts waived his first court appearance Thursday morning and was returned to the Fulton jail, where he will be held without bond until March 23, when he's expected to return to court.

Yet what might make the hostage case involving Roberts particularly freakish is the ensuing 911 dispatch call that had led to the women's eventual rescue. Indeed, the home is 6,800 square feet with seven beds and nine baths and is valued at more than $1 million, according to Zillow. "I don't have to worry about paying bills.' It's glamorized", said McClure, who began the nonprofit in 2005 after leaving the sex industry herself.

Police say Roberts used social media to recruit women, and the Live Star Nation feed, which now has 17,000 followers, seemingly associated with him chronicles his view of life inside the house.

'Does he know holding someone against their will is against the law?' the dispatcher asks.

Eight kidnapped women were forced to work as strippers at a local club in a disturbing case out of Georgia, authorities said this week. "He'll be like, 'You can leave whenever you want, ' and then he'll, like, threaten you right after". She told the operator she planned on calling a vehicle to pick her up and then running from the house because friends got her a flight to Orlando.
