Sunny Leone Reacts To Ram Gopal Verma's Women's Day Tweet

Post his tweet, the Twitterati slammed him and started trolling him on the social networking site.

His most recent controversy - his tweet, wishing women on International Women's Day, made headlines and attracted huge criticism.

In response to the tweet, Sunny replied with some emojis.

Ram Gopal Varma is sorry for his derogatory tweet on Sunny Leone By Prajakta Ajgaonkar Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has finally apologised for his distasteful tweets on Sunny Leone on Women's Day. Earlier, Varma faced backlash for his sexist and misogynistic remark on Inteational Women's Day, he tweeted that every woman should keep men happy like Sunny Leone. Instead of telling women to give up kitchen duties and taking up jobs, she just told them to stop kitchen duties and basically become sex objects.

"My apology is only to those who genuinely got offended and not to those who ranted for publicity nd threatened to take law into their hands", he tweeted.

Nationalist Congress Party leader, Jitendra Awhad lashed out, saying, "RGV apologise or face the consequences". While the general public did not take this too well, it was taken in good humor by Sunny Leone. Awhad warned that if RGV didn't apologise, he'd lodge a police complaint.

It filed a complaint yesterday against Varma with the State Women's Commission, the organisation's local office-bearer Pratiksha Korgaonkar said.

We wonder if Sunny Leone's statement on this will end the matter.
