Watch Lorde 'Green Light' the 'Saturday Night Live' Stage

Kiwi singer-songwriter Lorde has just appeared on the American comedy show Saturday Night Live.

Lorde made her scheduled appearance on "Saturday Night Live" last night and she killed both of her live performances. The singer/songwriter delivered "Green Light" and "Liability" from her upcoming studio album "Melodrama" which is coming out later this year, AceShowbiz said.

During her performance, she sat back to back with her collaborator Jack Antonoff who was on piano, and she was dressed in a loose white ensemble of a shirt and trousers with a ragged looking veil pulled up over her head.

Watch Lorde play "Green Light" and "Liability" on SNL below.

"Melodrama" is set for release on June 16th 2017 through Republic Records.

This was Lorde's first time as an SNL headliner.

Organising "a special musical performance to make up for all the stuff you've been through", Lorde is then introduced and counts herself in - until Bennett and Mooney butt in and sing Lorde's 2013 hit "Royals" instead.
