Huge Man Utd and Chelsea boost, Arsenal receive £26m offer, Liverpool update

Striker Romelu Lukaku's future at Everton has been thrown into doubt after he told the club he does not want to sign his new contract.

Everton were willing to make the Belgium global, who has just over two years remaining on his current deal, their highest-paid player on a deal worth £100,000 per week.

The latest development is sure to alert clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain - all of them have been linked with the 23-year-old in the past.

Lukaku met with club officials on Tuesday afternoon (March 14) and informed them of his decision, confirming he has no wish to extend his current deal which still has two years left to run from the end of this season, said the Daily Telegraph.

But now multiple reliable media sources are reporting that Lukaku has had a change of heart and wants Champions League football next season.

If Everton can't tie him down to a new deal, it's quite likely that his next destination will be Stamford Bridge.

However, United are also set to sign a new front-man during the summer window with Wayne Rooney expected to leave and Zlatan Ibrahimovic yet to sign a new deal so they could provide Chelsea with stiff competition for Lukaku's signature.

Lukaku has scored 19 goals this season to make him the joint-top goal scorer in the Premier League and he has recently become Everton's all-time leading Premier League scorer with 62 goals since joining from Chelsea in 2014.

Reports in England have suggested that Belgian striker Lukaku has turned down a lucrative contract offer from Everton, amid transfer interest from a host of Europe's top clubs.

If Lukaku leaves, it'll be a big blow to Ronald Koeman's side.
