McDonald's Twitter to Trump: 'You are a disgusting excuse of a president'

That tweet included a new hashtag, #BoycottMcDonalds.

Minutes after the discovery, the tweet disappeared, suggesting that the account had been hacked or otherwise compromised.

McDonald's then tweeted that twitter notified them their account was hacked.

McDonald's official Twitter handle on Thursday criticized the President Donald Trump and called him the disgusting excuse of the President and accused him of having tiny hands.

Before Trump has had a chance to respond, Twitter has come out in full force, with jokes riffing on the McDonald's tweet.

In the now deleted tweet, the message also wished for return of the former Democratic President Barack Obama. As seen in the top photo above, President Trump spoke to others aboard Air Force One prior to landing at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, on Wednesday, March 15. Will he continue to eat "fish delights"? Trump ordered McDonald's for the entire crew before takeoff.

I like to think that one of McDonald's social media interns let loose on the orange President before realising they weren't logged into their personal account. Great! You are now officially on the #BoycottMcDonalds list! The account has more than 150,000 followers.

In fact, Trump even appeared in a McDonald's commercial, displaying his love for their food, in 2002.

Yesterday, hundreds of Twitter accounts including Justin Bieber's and Forbes were hacked.

McDonald's spokeswoman Becca Hary confirmed that tweet's veracity, sending the same statement to CNNTech via email.
