Massachusetts Weather: Sunny, high in 30s on St. Patrick's Day

There will be a south wind 15 to 20 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 30 miles per hour.

Friday night, the low will be around 37, according to the weather service, with a north wind of 6 miles per hour.

Tomorrow: Partly cloudy, with a high of 60 to 68 degrees and lows between 45 and 50 degrees on the North Shore and 50 to 55 on the south shore.

It could be 81 degrees in Denver on Saturday and Sunday, the NWS says.

Sunday, mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Wind gusts could be as high as 32 miles per hour. Lows around 30. Northwest winds 5 to 10 miles per hour. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent.

Record daily high temperatures are 74 degrees Friday, 78 degrees Saturday and 77 degrees Sunday, weather service data shows. There is a chance of rain and snow before 11 a.m., then a chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 41.

While meteorologists say confidence for this weekend event is on the low side, it would come just days after the Lehigh Valley was blitzed by a March snowstorm that also brought more than two feet of snow to the Poconos.

Saturday: Snow likely, possibly mixed with rain before 11am, then a chance of rain.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 52. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 61.
