Nintendo Answers Joy-Con Issues, Doubles On Switch Production

PowerUp Rewards Pro members receive a 50 percent credit bonus when they trade games or accessories toward any new Nintendo Switch games and accessories, and up to $125 credit when they trade Nintendo 3DS or Wii U toward a new Nintendo Switch, now through March 19, 2017. Initial sales on this have been phenomenal. This may imply that Nintendo Switch already has a cloud option, but it is now only accessible to them, and not users. Online auction sites regularly show the Switch going for more than its markup price, with a median selling price of $440, or about 47 percent, according to an analysis from Ars Technica.

Meanwhile, a report from the Wall Street Journal confirmed that Nintendo is gearing up to double their production of the Switch console, as online retailers and other sources have run out of stock since the product was launched.

The company had initially planned to produce 8 million Switch units through its fiscal 2017 year (which starts in April). On the contrary, 101 million units of the original Wii were sold, with 20 million units sold in its first year alone.

The Nintendo NES saw worldwide success and has changed the course of gaming history with it's release. Well Gamestop will have you covered as it's back in stock later this week.

They also mentioned that they are meeting the demand by securing additional systems as fast as they can to ensure customers are able to purchase this innovative gaming technology. At that point, you'd be better off investing in a tent to pick up one in your local store.

Nintendo Switch Amazon is also getting refreshed stock by March 31. In total, the company is looking to sell some 10 million units every month.

What Is Causing The Left Joy-Con Connection Issue?

At $599.99, the Nintendo Switch Starter Bundle Two includes the Nintendo Switch System, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild game, Expansion Pass (digital) and Strategy Guide.
