An away victory at the Riverside therefore is easier said than done.

Boro matched their more-fancied opponents until Mesut Ozil score the victor in the 71-minute, after Alvaro Negredo had cancelled out Alexis Sanchez's sublime opener. They retook the lead through Mesut Ozil 20 minutes later.

After the win, Sanchez delighted the fans with his gesture.

But Arsenal still harbour slim hopes of reaching the Champions League places.

Speaking after the game to NBC Sports, Ramsey was asked by club legend Lee Dixon how the players have been dealing with the recent criticism (see below at 0:33).

"I told them at half-time we needed to play forward a little earlier, and when we scored the goal we put them under real pressure".

"It's important for the whole squad to stick together".

After the game, a proud Agnew praised the determination of his side.

"I know it's hard because we don't have a lot of games left, and the teams we're playing against can be unsafe".

The Leicester captain has missed the past five games with a back injury but manager Craig Shakespeare has admitted he could be fast-tracked to get him ready. We've only been working on it a week so we didn't have an bad lot of time to prepare.

"Even when we conceded the second we still had chances when the ball went into the box".

"Bournemouth will be a bit twitchy because they haven't won that many recently", Clayton added.

"It's going to be tough, we know that", he said. "We need to get a win as soon as possible and change the face of it".

"Arsenal are still one of the best teams in the world, they are not in a good moment but they have a lot of high quality players that will come here to play against us".
