Wyoming, MN Police's Humorous 4/20 Tweet Goes Viral

The police department in Wyoming, Minn., got a viral reaction to a amusing tweet it posted for 4/20, a day marijuana users consider a holiday.

- Police in Wyoming, Minnesota have set up the some "discreet" 420 traps to catch their weed suspects.

"Undercover #420 operations are in place".

The "traps" are Doritos, Cheetos, Mountain Dew, White Castle and video games such as "Grand Theft Auto".

A few hours later, the department posted several tweets that effectively harshed the mellow, linking to the state's substance abuse hotline. "Discreet traps have been set up throughout the city today" and is trending on Twitter.

Police shared a tongue in cheek photo of an officer holding a net while hiding behind a series of snacks and other items meant to entice marijuana smokers on the day that celebrates pot culture.

Police in Minnesota are going viral for a joke they posted to the police department's Twitter account. They also offered to help find resources to those with substance abuse issues without issuing jail time.
