'Deadpool 2': Ryan Reynolds Reveals First Look At Josh Brolin As Cable

Deadpool 2 is looking to hit theaters June 1st 2018 in the U.S. and around the world.

Ryan Reynolds is as excited about the sequel as anyone, and he's making it known via social media.

Cable was born Nathan Summers - the son of Scott Summers aka Cyclops and his mother Madelyn Pryor, who was actually a clone of Jean Grey in an elaborate plot put together by Mr. The most recent update gave people their first look at the mutant character teased in the post-credits scene of the first film, Cable.

Reynolds tweeted out the first pic above, with the caption reading "We all have that one, grumpy, heavily armed Uncle from the future". You can see on Cable's collar bone and neck though, the more traditional "organic metal" look. Thanfully, there are no shoulder pads to be found.

He said: "It's going to be comic book's equivalent to Rush Hour, and I don't know if comic fans are ready for it". Plus, he has a teddy bear. But once viewers look past the insane gun and tons of ammo, they'll notice a worn teddy bear on his hip. John Wick co-director David Leitch is at the helm, working from a script by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the writers behind the first Deadpool movie.

Ryan Reynolds, who plays the titular DeadPool took to Twitter earlier today to reveal Cable, as portrayed by Josh Brolin, who coincidently will also be playing Thanos in the upcoming Avengers Infinity War movie. That said, it shouldn't surprise us all that much, considering how well the folks behind the Deadpool film honored the source comic book material.
