Apple iPhone 8 will launch in September, says KGI analyst

However, insiders are reporting that Apple is reportedly delaying this plan for next years' iPhone.

Later this year, Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) is expected to launch a trio of smartphones that could, in aggregate, help drive Apple's iPhone results past the peak that it enjoyed during the iPhone 6 "super cycle".

Speaking of its features and specifications, the source revealed that iPhone 8 along with the two new models will support fast charging.

Fans think that the design is odd and that the Apple should not go that direction. Brazilian programmer and iOS developer Guilherme Rambo discovered the string of text suggesting silenced notifications in the HomePod compiled source code. The iPhone 7 is capable of 720p resolution only. HDR capture is also referenced in the firmware as "ModernHDR", but it's not clear what exactly that means. A new video today from YouTuber Danny Winget offers a hands-on look at an alleged iPhone 7s Plus dummy unit and comparing it to a dummy iPhone 8... Recall, over the past few months we've seen quite a number of reports claiming that Apple's next-gen iPhone wouldn't hit store shelves until October at the earliest, or mid-November at the latest. The iPhone 8 is much shorter and wider than the Plus variant, and it also features a glass back, with a vertical dual camera setup instead.

According to the video, the iPhone 8 dummy unit has no Home button and no Touch ID as a outcome.

Given that the render of iPhone 8 leaked displays a March date on its screen, it implies that the design is an old one and there are chances that the final design of the handset may vary. Not too long after, all three devices will launch concurrently, presumably in late September. It merits calling attention to the snappy charger plug for these iPhones will utilize USB Type-C, however, the iPhone 8, iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus will stay with the Lightning port.

Samsung Display, the sole display supplier for the OLED iPhone, had initially planned to start production for Apple in the first half of this year but had put off the schedule to July due to the delayed decision. The company has reportedly bagged $200 million (roughly Rs. 1200 crores) in orders during the quarter, a huge rise from just $5 million (roughly Rs. 310 lakhs) in revenue for the 3D sensing tech during the June quarter. This time we see a live video of a black device that looks like the flagship which Apple is going to launch in September.
