Slightly lower rain chances Sunday

Monday will be a high of 79 with sunny skies to kick off the week. Moderate values of precipitable water, a measure of moisture in the atmosphere, will help rain showers fully develop into thunderstorms. Sunday afternoon and evening looks mostly dry.

Monday will trend about 10 degrees cooler, with most of the lower elevations in the 70s to low 80s. Monday night will again be quite comfortable, with mainly clear skies and lows in the upper 50s to near 60.

Today: Mostly sunny and attractive, turning less humid this afternoon.

Wednesday|Showers possible in the afternoon. Another round of pop-up showers and thunderstorms, especially in western and northern New Hampshire, is expected during the afternoon. Thursday will feel the most humid outside, and while the humidity will lower a bit for the weekend, you'll still notice some humidity this weekend. With a south wind in place, highs will climb up into the mid 80s.

Friday: Periods of rain and showers. Becoming partly cloudy, with a high in the upper 70s.
