New Legends Will Rise in Destiny 2's Live Action Trailer

The 60-second version will debut on TV this Saturday, September 2, during the University of Alabama and Florida State University game. However, in between jobs he apparently took on a small gig with Bungie to direct the new live-action Destiny 2 trailer.

If you're interested in the game, Destiny 2 hits Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on September 6, 2017.

In the footage featured above, potential players can catch a novel look at the world of Destiny 2 by way of the New Legends Will Rise live-action trailer directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts. And now a psycho rhino named Ghaul is coming to take that away too. Fresh off his work in bringing Kong: Skull Island to life on the big screen, Vogt-Roberts has teamed up with Activison, Bungie, 72andSunny, RSA Films, and Framestore to produce the short for the global launch celebration of the new game. It only got sweeter when during my pitch I said I wanted to actually shoot it in Detroit. For me as a gamer, and the world is changing so much, but I just remember so vividly when I was younger marketing campaigns hadn't figured out how to be respectful and loving to the actual people playing games in their basement before gaming was cool.

The barrage of Destiny 2 trailers, game details and announcements are seemingly not letting up yet...
